Kauffman Performance LTD. enlisted one of the most reputable pattern shops in the country to craft the patterns to pour our MR-1 and MR-1A Pontiac blocks. The pattern shop worked meticulously with the original drawings of a 400 Pontiac engine. This craftsmanship along with the input from the Kauffman Performance LTD. team, identified countless required changes that had to be made to develope an engine block pattern that yields an extraordinarily accurate casting. The quality of the finished product starts with and depends on the quality and care taken at each and every step in the production process.
